~ Books Mehndi the Soul ~
We are proud to be stewards of the first Little Free Library in the Lockhart neighborhood, here in northwest Orlando, the home of Beachcombers Henna Supply and Studio.

I LOVE to read. I have wanted to be a steward of a Little Free Library since I first discovered the LFL concept, so I started one here at work!
As of writing this, there are no Little Free Libraries in a three-mile radius of our studio. My hope is that ours will inspire many many more!

How to Use the Little Free Library

Visit our LFL at 8503 Forest City Rd. It’s located in our back parking lot, near the sidewalk on Drake Dr.
- Borrow a book or two
- Read and enjoy!
- Return the book.
Love the book? Keep it! You can even contribute another book to the library!

Fun Fact! Asad and I built the Beachcombers’ Little Free Library using reclaimed wood from the louvers we removed from the studio windows (remember those awful things?).

The Little Free Library Concept
The LFL concept was first started by Todd Bol in Wisconsin. The idea is to create access to a free book exchange and build community. It was inspired by the “Take a Book – Leave a Book” collections found in coffee houses and the occasional hotel.
Little Free Library is a nonprofit that builds community, inspires readers, and expands book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led little libraries.
LittleFreeLibrary.org – Take a Book | Share a Book
Through LFL book exchanges, millions of books are exchanged each year, profoundly increasing access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds.
A special thank you to my favorite librarian, Kaitlyn Yang, for our awesome tagline, “Books Mehndi the Soul”.
